Recitation of the Qur’an: The objective is to help students read the Qur’an (not learn the Arabic language).This however requires very active follow-up by parents at home.
Memorization of Surahs: Depends on the level of the student. Beginners will start with memorizing Juz’
30, advanced students will memorize different verses and Surahs such as: Ayat Al-kursi, Surat Al-mulk,
Al-waqi’aa, Surat Yaseen … (Audio CDs will be provided for this purpose)
For the young: In addition to Qur’an memorization, students will be taught some Islamic manners, stories from the Qur’an and basic Fiqh.
