By the grace of God, the number of Muslim families in Blossom Valley / Almade Valley / South San Jose Area has grown rapidly. While there are a number of excellent institutions in the Bay Area, our fast-paced lifestyles and the competing demands of work and family have highlighted the need for an Islamic center nearer to our homes.
The Blossom Valley Muslim Community Center (BVMCC) was founded in acknowledgement on this fact and the desire to foster a sense of community and create a center where the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith are both taught and practiced.

Words of Wisdom
It Is narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him), observed: He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise. A person (amongst his hearers) said: Verily a person loves that his dress should be fine, and his shoes should be fine. He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: Verily, Allah is Graceful and He loves Grace. Pride is disdaining the truth (out of self-conceit) and contempt for the people. (Sahih Muslim, Book of Faith, Vol.1, Hadith No.164)
